Automated video pipelines, from raw footage to published clip.
Automedia Workflows designs and operates end-to-end media automation. Our software finds the meaningful moment inside a long piece of sports footage, cuts it into a vertical short, writes the copy that goes with it, and publishes it to the social accounts our operators have connected — without a person in the loop at publish time.
How it works
Every clip moves through the same five stages. The whole sequence runs on a schedule on our own servers; there is no manual editing or approval step between detection and publishing.
Source
A licensed sports-highlights API supplies match footage. Candidates are filtered by competition and ranked before anything is downloaded.
Detect
Computer-vision models track the ball and players frame by frame, and crowd-audio analysis locates the moment the goal actually happens.
Edit
A virtual camera reframes the action to 9:16, applies a colour treatment chosen from the clip's own measured intensity, and burns in subtitles.
Write
A large language model drafts the title, caption and hashtags from the match context. Speech is transcribed and translated for subtitles.
Publish
The finished vertical video is uploaded to each connected platform, and view and engagement figures are recorded for later analysis.
Measure
Performance data feeds back into how future clips are selected and treated, so the pipeline's editorial decisions improve over time.
Platforms we publish to
Publishing happens only to accounts an operator owns and has explicitly connected through each platform's official authorisation flow. We use each platform's documented content-publishing API, and nothing else:
- YouTube — via the YouTube Data API, as Shorts.
- Instagram — via the Instagram API with Instagram Login, as Reels.
- TikTok — via the TikTok Content Posting API.
Access can be withdrawn at any time from the platform's own settings, or by removing the stored credential on our side. Revoking access stops publishing immediately.
What we are careful about
- Only our own accounts. The software never posts to an account it has not been explicitly authorised for.
- No viewer data. We read aggregate figures for our own posts — views, likes, shares, saves. We do not collect information about the people who watch them.
- Modest volume. The pipeline is rate-limited well below each platform's published allowance.
- Auditable decisions. Every editorial choice the software makes is logged with the measurements behind it, so any published clip can be explained after the fact.
About
Automedia Workflows is a small, independent studio working on one question: how much of the short-form video pipeline can be handled by software without the output feeling machine-made?
We build the tooling and we run it on our own channels, which means we are the first ones to notice when a clip misses the moment or a caption reads badly. Everything we ship has to survive that before it goes anywhere near a schedule. Sports highlights are where we started, because the footage is fast, noisy and unforgiving — if the automation holds up there, it will hold up on easier material.
